After a quarter century of pushing boundaries and frequencies, for the first time together The Nomad with MC Antsman and WarpTV will be dropping the beats and visuals at Deliverance Festival, Australia.

A super tight collaboration from three OG New Zealand artists showcasing their unique flavours to thepeople.

Daimon Schwalger, aka The Nomad, firmly fits the bill as a pioneer of the electronica music scene in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Since his first album release ‘Movement’ in 1998, he has gone on to release seven full length albums, remix albums and various singles while working with some of music’s leading talents.

“The nomadic traveller working on beats all day” has compiled an impressive body of work, which features collaborations with many different artists and musicians from New Zealand, Australia, UK and Jamaica.

Artists include Barnaby Weir (Black Seeds), MC Antsman (The Nomad/Rhombus), Tehimana Kerr (FatFreddy’s Drop), Pearl Runga, Tiki Taane, Opiuo, King Kapisi, Farda P (Rockers HiFi), Luciano, LisaTomlins, Oakley Grenell (O.G.), Pepsi (Wham), Ras Stone, Tim Budgen (WarpTV) andmany more.

The vocal vibe controller is MC Antsman with over 30 years experience as a dj and mc.

Known for his smooth poly-syllabic vocal style and rich tones with uplifting messages for the people.

He has been amember of bands such as; Rhombus, Beats N Pieces Hip Hop Crew, Pacific Underground and has been jamming with The Nomad since 1998.

Favourite saying is “Always stay humble even though we ready to rumble”.

Providing the visual sensation will be veteran visual artist Tim Budgen - who started his vj career remixing VHS tapes in the mid-90s, and has vj'd at countless raves, festivals and gigs around the country andthe world since then.

A long time collaborator withThe Nomad, he can also be found on the road with Shapeshifter - including their recent 25th anniversary tour, and has worked with Blindspott at Homegrown, and Tiki Taane on "In Session with the CSO".

In addition to animating for TV, short films and teaching, he has created visuals for a long list of national and international djs.

He no longer uses VHS tapes.

The team recently completed a series of gigs around NZ promoting "The Nomad - Infinite", 25th year anniversary double vinyl album release.
